Has there ever been a more pathetic group of candidates for governor of SC?

Any statewide or larger election pretty much in my lifetime (I'm old as *&^%^) has been about voting the lesser of evils... TMI out there on everyone, and everyone has some dirt that can be found these days, so the best pool of talent stays on the sideline for fear of embarrassment for something...

There are no hungry people today, literally and figuratively. Majority want a CEO paid position but want to put forth little effort. Wish I had more than an opinion, especially an answer.
