    OT: Bobby Bonilla Day

In simple terms, if Madoff wasn't a ponzi, the Wilpons negotiated a lower NPV cost to the Mets on the Bonilla contract by deferring at a lower interest rate than they were earning. The Wilpons were financially sophisticated, much more than the people on this thread. That they invested over...

Level playing field? Michigan President: "We are not going to sacrifice the competitive advantage that we have built for more than a century.”

This is what many critics don't seem to understand. Rutgers has decades of catching up to do. Not an easy task.

    MLAX Recruits Having Monster Years

I see that Mavlios (our FOGO commit from Chaminade) returned from a groin injury to play in their final game, a close 13-12 loss to St. Anthony's. Chaminade had IL's number rated player who's is going to Duke, their goalie to ND, and another guy going to UVA. 20 players committed to play in...

    MLAX Recruits Having Monster Years

Guy who stands next to me on the train platform in the morning was the goalie for Chaminade back in the day. He had a nice career at Navy (when they had some excellent years). Notre Dame always seems to land several kids from there. A real powerhouse school.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

Lots sd yes, totally, R yes, RU was bottom fishing when GS was fired. An asolute dumpster fire.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

You like data but appear to struggle to analyze it. GS took over a team in 2020 that had just gone 0-18 in the B1G over the prior 2 seasons. Bereft of talent. In the brutal B1G east playing Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State every year. Look up the definition gauntlet. I rest my case...

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

Of course they did. But the point being they had a much easier schedule during that time period. Surely you understand it is not a 1:1 comparison with RU's gauntlet schedule.

Greg has one of the lowest win percentages of any active coach

Come on now, Purdue was in the west division. Care to estimate RU's record on that side of the bracket? Make a better argument. That one is extremely weak.

Ranking all 138 FBS QB situations

Have to say that if AJ beats out Lonergan, he must have some major skills. Some people thought Gregory would favor Wimsatt over AK but AK was head and shoulders better (and had a prior relationship with the OC). Lonergan has done it already at BC. Can AJ do it at this level? Remains to be...

OT: Annual list of beach tag prices in NJ Deal tops the list at $200

Even in California, is that legal?

Rutgers 2027 class currently ranked #56 here

Huge season as far as the future of GS, no one is doubting that. I'm impressed by the defensive coaching hiring. If they can get us to the middle of the pack, and I think they will do that, we are 6-6 at the minimum. Lots of talent on the offensive side. Either QB will put up big stats...

Nick Crowley to Rutgers Lacrosse from Princeton via transfer portal?

Not to get too far off topic, but Cornell is stockpiling FOGOs. One of the Cascadden brothers from Garden City was their starter this season (assume he is done) but his talented younger brother was a freshman. They have a Rockville Centre kid who is a sophomore who dominated in the NY state...

Nick Crowley to Rutgers Lacrosse from Princeton via transfer portal?

I didn't realize Chaminade's FOGO was a RU commit. Would love to make inroads with that school. Was talking with a Chaminade dad who's son is a sr. Apparently this FOGO kid is very good. Team was very disappointed to get smoked by a team that was close in the national rankings (both top 10)...

Nick Crowley to Rutgers Lacrosse from Princeton via transfer portal?

Delbarton beat Chaminade in the last few weeks. But Chaminade's face off guy was hurt and Delbarton absolutely dominated possession because of that.
