    Just to set the record straight, Moreno was #25 and Jasper Johnson was 20th. 25 is the usual cutoff for 5-stars. Plus he got Quaintance, who was a clear 5-star. All of these commits had reasons to commit beyond Pope though, being from Kentucky or being injured.

    Toppin hasn't started practicing yet. He'll be out. Also Stillwell is said to be out. So they will have a very thin frontline. They probably start Williams and Bagayoko from Mali, who played in the Spanish League, at PF and C.

    Not really fair to critize his college season when he just came back from a heart attack. The rest I agree with though. He's an average G-League player.

    Oddly, I did not, just because I watched him play with Pitino at Iona and a little bit at St Johns. I know he's much better than he was then, but I never saw him with Hofstra. Will he even play point or will it be Gibbs-Lawhorn? They are employing a similar 1G/2G structure to our backcourt.

    Toppin's injury holding him back possibly, while Williiams is a 5th year guy. Well, dang. Rothstein just had McCasland on his podcast - Toppin isn't even practicing yet. and eligibility issues are dogging not just Williams, but also Stillwell and Atwell.

    AP Preseason Poll Out

    Looks like they added Zaivian Lee from Florida as a fifth year to play point for them. Also they have Javon Bennett from Dayton. Another late add as well as adding two Euro players over the summer. Their bigs are pretty good with Huff back, Wiggins from Clemson, and Diop from Arizona St.
