    Should be the end of his days coaching. Wasn't much of a coach to start with. I'll never forget his "unforgettable" choke job when Mississippi Valley State blew a 16 point lead against Western Kentucky in the First Four in the last 5 minutes.

    4 National Championships at D-2 Goes to Drake, wins a tournament game there. Considering Drake's past history of choking in the 1st Round, that was a nice accomplishment. Goes to Iowa, leads them to their first first Sweet 16 since 1999, in doing so takes out the defending National Champion...

    They'll always have that Wednesday night in Dayton. Probably the worst at large since the 2000 UNLV team. I think they won the Mountain West that year, but the Mountain West was in its first year and didn't have an automatic bid yet. They lost by 27 to Tulsa in the first round. I remember...

    BYU doing BYU things. For the most part, it seems like they are good enough to get in the tournament, but usually don't stay long.

    Back to Back tournaments at two different schools. First NCAA Tournament win for VCU in 10 years. I always liked Phil Martelli Sr. Glad his son followed in his footsteps. I hope he has a long career ahead of him.

    I hope this is a preview of what's to come. Also glad to see a MEAC school get another NCAA Tournament victory. Coppin State, Hampton when they were a member of the MEAC and Norfolk State own some of my favorite upsets.

    Insane situation between the WAC and Utah Valley(Update: WILL be allowed in conf. tourney)

    While it wound up losing all those teams that gave it the history, it is still sad seeing the WAC's demise. This will be its final season as it will be renamed the United Athletic Conference with teams joining from the Atlantic Sun and OVC. EKU is headed there for example.
