Definitely wouldn’t call these “Phoebus” kids. I’d call them “Hampton kids”. This Phoebus team is what taking the best players in Roanoke, Richmond, etc. would look like on one team. Arguably the best team in VA, but manufactured.
Jumped to the defensive pretty quickly. I don’t know why. Sounds like kids there can end up in multiple places (4-5 options?). Not sure I’d call them “Phoebus kids”. How are all the other high schools in Hampton doing? I’m guessing they’re cruising along, dominating their opponents too???
Until Northside makes a coaching change, they are not likely to be competitive. Christiansburg will be back with even more experience. William Byrd and Staunton River will be better, but will they be improved enough to make a difference? LB will have some very important and talented pieces back...

Not one person in 3A has mentioned hating Phoebus players. Not one. Reflect on that for a minute.

Respectfully, there are six divisions for a reason. Why even compare Phoebus to Riverheads? Or even envision a matchup between them? Apples and oranges.
All I know is…3 more days and the 3A forum (for football) will become a lot more enjoyable.
