    After the Oregon loss....Day and the AD sat Knowles down and went play by play for the entire game and made him defend his calls. Knowles was not happy about that....now that was before the Michigan loss and the Playoff run. It is not an easy fan base and administration to work for.

    The Litrell hire was catastrophic. The WR injuries and soap opera with the medical staff optics are concerning combined with the exodus to the portal. Venables appears to be in over his head. He is revered and is a solid man but I do not see him at Oklahoma past 2025.

    We'll see what these guys can do with almost no time left. Getting a few of these players would definitely energize the Sooner nation and shine a light on what will be coming down the road in terms of recruiting. However it turns out...we are lucky to be rid of LR.

    Don't take it personal

    College Football as we have known it and loved it is over. Starts with the NIL and Transfer portal and will end with a super conference of 32 teams in the next decade. We have always had "me" players in college football but it was not malignant and not wide spread. Those days are gone.
