    I think the only way you make a move after 6-6 is if you truly have a better coach lined up. For example, if you have Dan Mullen on the hook, you almost have to make the move. He's a proven winner, and it will inject new optimism in the fan base and the NIL donors.

    It's a classic lump sum vs annuity question to me. There is a net present value to that $54M dollar payout, so that is what the real argument is about. Depends on what you assume for the rate of return.
