What is your level of engagement?

They don't steal talent. There are predictable and protected contracts which players must fulfill. The L.A Angels had Trout and Ohtani at the same time and they **** down their leg, put terrible teams on the field and lost Ohtani to a team across town. The Dodgers are spending a lot of money...

What is your level of engagement?

MLB baseball has no relationships to College football. You can at least follow the same 5 or 6 players for years in the mlb, and watch new prospects develop and come up in the farm system. Red Sox suck but mlb is very entertaining, and even when a team is bad they are probably building talent...

What is your level of engagement?

I'm just pissed that our roster is full of non-professionals who will make more money than doctors and surgeons to barely beat bowling green and ohio. The only reason they are being paid this much is because our coach, who is making about 20-30 surgeons worth of money a year is bad at his job...

    America's 250th

Subsidies are an early tier of socialism. It involves the government "picking favorites" instead of letting the market decide, which means the government has a power lever that it should not have in a true market economy. Corporate has impregnated government, the two are now inseparable...and...

    “You play to win”

The current "bad streak" is now longer than T.Os "good streak". By the time Rhule is gone our bad streak will be going on 30 years. Nebraska philosophy for the last 25 years has been to waste supporters money while trotting out generally embarrassing coaches and teams.

    RB1

I was just going to post how stupid it was to rely on a guy who had been "benched" multiple times last season for behavior. Now said guy is caught abusing a pregnant woman, same guy Rhule decided was reliable enough, to skip getting a transfer portal rb. Bad look.

Can we get some of this at NU?

He just says the outcome is a predictable as fire, which is why he might prescribe to it. He might be served well by incompetence even when others are not. I am sure Rhule is very appreciate of decades of incompetence at NU, it has made his stinkin' rich.

Can we get some of this at NU?

South Korea Coach Quits after Criticism from President "If loyalty and factionalism are valued over competence and an incapable person is appointed as a leader, the outcome is as predictable as fire," the president said."

    5-year eligibility approved ...

What is sad is I don't think we have a football player who will make more as a pro than they are at NU. Maybe that should be the negotiating baseline. Look, we aren't paying you 250k or more unless you are looking like you can make an NFL roster.

    TO's offense = Identity

I will preface by saying that anything is better than what we are watchin with our current team but the triple option has been neglected by the smartest minds for a reason.. there is no reason to limit offensive space while running an offense that leads to a ton of injuries, a ton of turnovers...

    5-year eligibility approved ...

This doesn't change anything. Guys will sue to get more years based on "reasons", local courts will provide annual injunctions so their favorite player can continue playing, the NCAA will sue, and by the time the case is heard the kid will be 30.

Brendan Sorsby is done. Canada says no thanks

Money is pointless unless you spend it. He gets off by taking money and making money, but if he was a fan giving a tiny % of your total worth to win a college football championship is a huge return and will create memories for millions which last a lifetime. Humans get huge payback from their...
