    Thanks. I do remember the BoilerMax alternate name but not the others and I do now remember he was a Purdue guy too. Had some strange folks on the board in those days too, didn't we. I remember TCCAT and all his "insider" posts and his after midnight runs to Taco Bell, lol.

    This recruiting story is sounding too familiar. At this point I've lost interest and am submitting to another mediocre season. Sorry, just not very confident in Pope's inability to land a star player. Maybe this will be the final season for him after all.

    I think you are correct. These so called "insiders" do more to stir up the fanbase than anyone and are just looking for clicks, I guess. These people are the real problems getting fans excited and then nothing happens or, sometimes, the unexpected happens. These insiders are the real problem.

    I think the rumors we had today about him calling both schools saying he had decided where was just that, rumors, and false ones. Had he truly had done that there would be no reason to drag out an announcement like that. Makes him look like he is trying to extort more NIL money if true. I know...

    I go along with what you're saying. Love to achieve a bowl this year but I'm thinking that would just be a bonus this season. I'm looking for a team that is more exciting to watch on both sides of the ball and being competitive this first year. A bowl would be icing on the cake.

    I'm pretty excited about the Will Stein era set to begin. My expectations aren't over bloated his first season but I'm looking forward to seeing how he runs the team and what our future might look like.
