    Fleck is a scumbag

    Not to take anything away from them, but DL isn't Minnesota's strength. Enough of the best players are coming back so that if Fleck's younger recruits develop, the team should be improved next year.

    All 4 of Minnesota's B1G games have been blowout victories. MN also won 3 of it's last 4 games last year, all 3 by blowout (including @Wisconsin, 37-7 til WI scored with 1 min left). Yes their non-conference wins were lackluster, but they seem to improve under Fleck. PS - Purdue scored 2 TDs...

    No reason. He never made controversial statements or anything. Some old farts in the Minneapolis media still don't like him....because of his high-energy outgoing personality. They don't like mottos like Row The Boat, Change Your Best, and some other things like that he says. He was 5-7...

    Minnesota fans simply want steady progress. Fleck year 3....just being in the conversation, late in the year, for a Big Ten championship and Playoff is enough. We should be improved next year.

    You have to admit though...the timing is almost comical. All the headlines are about what a bad loss it was. Tennessee hadn't won an SEC game for almost a year, Mississippi St. is headed toward a terrible year, etc. The USA Today headline literally reads: Joe Moorhead: "I Did Suck".
