McKeever is a straight up GIANT. It really is striking in person.

*****IL-Springfield vs Iowa Exh. Game Thread*****

I went to the game last night and while I am not a basketball savant...it was apparent to me that they were "trying things". It was, well, an exhibition. I was not loving Coleman's FT's, form and concentration, though. I would not look for him to be on the floor much during fouling time...

IOWA spending betw $7.1 & $9.9M on Roster. At least $20M: Illinois, Michigan, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, UNC, St John's, Tenn, Texas Tech

Correct! ^^ If you have enough money to actually make a difference in college NIL...why wouldn't you give it to family, pay for school lunches for needy kids, etc, etc. I really don't understand the attraction. Now then, if a wealthy person donates to a cause, like building a building, etc...

    Chances of Bassett leaving VT?

    Agreed ^^. Especially boys.

    Chances of Bassett leaving VT?

Agreed. FWIW, while I don't consider myself a Bo "hater", I also don't think I will be rooting for him in the NCAA. Nevertheless, his flame out at U23's notwithstanding, he is having a lot of success v. other elite wrestlers at a Sr. level. At this point, he is exceeding my thoughts on how...

Toughest Game Remaining on the Schedule

Except Purdue I suspect. The Hawks will be heavy faves against the Boilers.

    Hank or Heck?

I don't have a dog in this fight, I am fine with the coaches determining who is the best player to start, but I see it the same way as you. While Heck certainly played well v. Washington, he also wasn't facing a defense as good as say, OSU. It's hard to make direct comparisons when they...

Moulton is on a mission...and I don’t mean BYU. 🤣🤣 Is Griffin related to John Madden? I love it.

Did I miss it? What happened to Tavian Banks? Where is he playing?

I have no facts or insight on the details of this situation but it would seem logical to me that teams may not want to bring someone in so late, especially if the newcomer has just one year left. The potential downside of disrupting team chemistry may cause a school to pass IMO.

Was Kirk unaware the game was over?

I was wondering about this. IF the Hawks were obligated to make a PAT try...would you not just do a victory formation kneel down?

    *****Andrew McKeever commits to IOWA*****

FYI, Jay was a hooper growing up, although I think that it is fair to say that he selected the right path by going gridiron. :)

Clutch kick, congrats to the Hawks! Diaz is my player of the game...I don't think iowa wins without him.
