Basketball Lino Mark set to return to Rutgers Basketball for 2026-27 season

Probably should have only prioritized certain retention over larger scale retention. Get your must haves (not guys like Ware) and go shopping.

2 PGs back, 2 to go… ‘Riq & Powers on the clock

Why do we need so many guards if the staff also want a portal PG?

    Portal Targets

Sounds like a Pike player that won’t work well in the B1G especially in an offense that doesn’t generate space or open looks.

    Portal Targets

His body of work in the NIL era suggests no. This isn’t Stony Brook.

    Keepers for next year

This is the same guy that refuses to change assistants on his staff or try a different offensive philosophy. Pike is just out to lunch on what modern CBB is. Until he joins reality, Rutgers will be screwed.

Basketball Rutgers Basketball ends season with loss to Creighton in College Basketball Crown

No surprise the most lopsided game of this first round is the one coached by Pike.

Betting against Puke is easy money. Guy can’t coach

Basketball Rutgers Basketball HC Steve Pikiell talks Nebraska Postgame

I don’t know how anyone can watch the offensive sets Nebraska runs under Hoiberg and what Rutgers runs under Pike/Knight and think more money is fixing this. Pike is supposed to be a defensive coach and they are terrible on that end as well. Just doesn’t belong in high major basketball any longer.

Basketball Rutgers Basketball drops seventh straight, rolled by No. 9 Nebraska

Does it matter if they have more in NIL if Pike still won’t run an offense?

Basketball Rutgers Basketball drops seventh straight, rolled by No. 9 Nebraska

Offense is pathetic in person. The difference between Nebraska and Rutgers on that side of the ball
