    Oger : what are your thoughts about OU's frosh lefthanders : Deal & Guerin ? 1.) Are they truly talented enough to anchor the staff in coming years ? 2.) Your thoughts about adding another HS pitcher to the roster or will Patti seek a couple of more portal transfers ?

    I'm big on Deal. I think for sure she'll be an anchor on this staff. She can do things as far as speed movement with a softball that most can't do. Add in the fact that she is a Lefty and with another year in OU's S&C program, she's just going to be a difficult player to hit off of.

    Guerin on the other hand is a project that has in my opinion may have peaked early. She's a big and tall athlete who may develope with time but it'll be a wait and see king of thing. She was a very early commit who loves OU softball.

    Ella Parker is an athlete who ranks 3rd in the 2023 class who can pitch but I don't see that with her. I project her at 1B which means there is probably going to be a Pitching transfer within the first couple weeks after this years WCWS. It's a wait and see for me on that front.
