    Are injuries a factor? West Point is disappointing. I thought Westmoreland was going to make a lot of noise, but something has happened there as well. Great win for Rappahannock.

    You could combine any 3 Tidewater schools and they are still not be as big as King William. King William probably would have left years ago, I just think they don't have anywhere to go. Several districts would probably need to be changed for any district to make sense in the area. It is sad...

    I guess the other question is why is King William in that district? Aren't they the only 2A team and more than double the size of any other school in the district?

    Back in the 80s, more kids played football. 5-10 kids get something nowadays and that’s half your team.

    D3 kids are offered same as others, there is just no athletic money given. D3 schools find other ways to lower tuition such as grants and academic scholarships.

    Westmoreland has a tie as well. I assume that comes from the game they didn't play against each other. I don't know if that is official or not.
