    I don't actually think its' open. They promoted the DC. Things have kind of fallen off the wayside since Chadwick left. Don't understand why they did not give the job permanently to the interim coach after the spring Covid season.

    I think that avoidance of the Charlotte powerhouses is why their RPI is so low. The SOS is really bad.

    Area out there continues to grow. Union County has a nice set up with their middle school feeders. This is a job with potential.

    Best/Worst Stadiums Visited in NC/SC

    Catawba Ridge and Nation Ford have the 2 best stadiums that I have been to in the Charlotte area. Really like the old school feel of Mooresville, Catholic and Myers Park. Need to venture outside of Charlotte to Richmond County.

    That is kind of what I was wondering. It seems that if they are playing a varsity schedule next year, they will have upper classmen at the school. Just not set up to be very competitive with the players and coaches not even getting together until June.

    Agreed. That is why I said you definitely have to consider byes and match ups in the playoffs. This year, I would certainly say that Vance beating AK and Hough is a lot tougher than NW Guilford and Panther Creek. I would push back on MP's last run to the Regional Final in 18. They won at Butler...

    Pretty remarkable that this is Vance's 5th straight Regional Final. Looking back they have won 17 playoff games going back to 2016. They are no doubt the new preeminent 4A program in Charlotte.     Butler has not been to the Regional Final since 2013. In 2016, the lost to Vance in the 3rd round.

    No offense but how are they better? Even if you include the 2016 season, which was a throw away year considering they fired their coach the week of the first game, Indy was 30-20 in the 4 years before Natoli - and again that includes the 2-9 year in 2016. They won 3 playoff games in those years...
