    We ran option the first play and the wind blew the pitch 10 yards behind our running back. We didn't have a bad pitch all season prior to that play. They actually had a punt that went -4 yards. Brutal.

    Having a son who played in the state title game last year, I think the thoughts on playing in Lincoln versus home stadiums are mixed. I can tell you that the atmosphere for the semi-final game which we played at home was as good of an atmosphere that I have ever seen for a high school game...

    Not sure how other schools feel. All I can tell you is that my kids played in 3 of those games and hated every second about it starting with the second the clock expired in the semi-final game where they lost. And from personal experience, we lost in the semi-final game my senior year before...
