The Cochran campaign just sent out a letter from Robert Khayat endorsing Cochran. It's a great letter that I think all folks on either side of this issue would agree with (other than the vote for Cochran part of course). I wish Dr. Ruby would write a similar piece.
I'm pretty sure we had the hit and run on there. IU recognized the situation and called for a pitch out (or the ball was high and outside, looked like a pitch out to me). Pirtle swung at it anyway with no chance of contact. I don't think it was a straight steal at all.
Exactly the point. Notice what those programs have that we don't? Let's start with national name recognition, money, tradition, stadium size, alumni base, national and conference titles as well as about everything else measurable than we do. Haven't you heard Greg, then Scott say since they...
Interesting if that is the way it played out at OSU. I feel quite certain Scott went to Dan with the proposal and asked if he wanted to play OSU. If Dan had said no it would have ended right there. While it's true the AD makes the football schedule, it's done with the complete buy-in of the...
Just a brutal game. I don't ever remember seeing so many players helped off the field on both sides.
Wasn't this the game where we got down to the 1 or 2 yard line there at the end and had a false start penalty (which led to the need to pass which led to the interception)? I remember our...
Pretty hard for an AD to override the head football coach on the bowl selection. I know Fedora was probably headed out the door anyway, but he was probably screwed either way on that decision.
Thought I was in a war zone. Went north on State St. from Woodrow Wilson. Broken out windows, boarded up houses. Man, what a hell hole. That area has to be tough on Millsaps recruiting.
I read somewhere that USC has a tendency to pinch their DT's to the outside which opens up the middle of the line. We had several 5 - 10+ yard running plays right up the middle Saturday, I would guess that's where the bulk of our running yardage was gained. Tyler probably read that defense so up...
Jack was just too painful to listen to the past few years, but we all choose to remember the good years when he was absolutely the best. Plus, this just may be the "replacing a legend" situation when even vintage Jack wouldn't have been good enough to replace the Jack Cristil of our memories...
