    Premature bowl question

    The Rose Bowl can technically take whatever bowl-eligible Big Ten team it wants if the Big Ten champion is in the playoff. I'd say there's a chance they take NU at 9-4 and losing the Big Ten Championship, but it's more likely they'd take a Big Ten East team with fewer losses.

    CBS changes its bowl projection for NU

    Palm seems to have a pretty good read on the "what the bowl committees/conferences will do" part of bowl projections (the other part, "who will win each game in the regular season", is a crap shoot for anyone). Holiday Bowl is very likely, I think.
