Does anybody want to talk about this week's game?

Glad you feel that way, NTX Coog. Kindred spirits Yeoman and Jack Pardee would not be happy about that. Fitting that Yeoman's last game against Tulsa was a loss to TU in 1986 in the Astrodome. I hope all the other Houston fans have moved on from the Yeoman and Pardee mentality. Good to have...

Does anybody want to talk about this week's game?

Irony... But I will try to respond. I'm going to assume "Y'all scored Rice" is meant to be "scored against Rice" I said UH hadn't scored in the 2nd half. It was 38-0 at half time and 38-3 at the end of the game. Don't even need my math degree to know UH didn't score in the 2nd half based on that.

Does anybody want to talk about this week's game?

One of the Coog faithful criticisms of Applewhite so far is that he goes super conservative on offense in the 2nd half with a lead. We had no offensive 2nd half points until the 3rd game of the season when we were losing. In the 4th game we scored on the 1st drive of the 3rd quarter and nothing...

Won't troll, but will contribute to the football discussion. You can say the schedule is moderate, but the offenses faced are not. UH has faced #7, 13, and 16 in total offense Of course yards aren't most important. Points are. UH has flplayed #2, 8, and 15 in scoring offense. But every team...

    Attendance Concerns?

No way that stadium could hold 75k any more. 1) The tarped area in the north end zone now houses the Brian Patterson Sports Performance Center. So those seats are forever gone. 2) The still tarped off areas don't have seats under them. So it's not just a matter of removing the tarps and...

Thats part of the point, no coach knows what, if any, penalties will occur. From the public report "The University has retained the services of Rick Evrard, of Bond, Schoenech & King, PLLC, and has made contact with the NCAA to initially discuss potential infractions and to offer full...

And my point was he passed on better jobs than Baylors current situation. You can bet he will have even better opportunities than Baylor and USCe after this year

Trying to understand your counterpoint. I said he turned down USCe and you said Big 12 is higher than AAC. Isn't the SEC higher than the AAC too? Isn't the SEC higher than the Big 12? At least with USCe, Herman knew what he might be walking into. With Baylor, is he walking into NCAA...

Why would Herman pass up South Carolina and take a probable disaster in Baylor? If Herman leaves, it will be for a much bigger job than Baylor. Baylor would be a bad step for a climb up the career ladder.

2015 Football - how did we do?

Based on expectations, I don't think you can give Tulsa anything but an A for the season. I thought the preseason predictions of Tulsa being the worst team in the conference were crazy, and you guys definitely proved me right. As for improvement, Tulsa and SMU had similar records last year...

    Houston?

So 2-time 1st team all conference WR Demarcus Ayers is not a player of consequence? And 2-time 2nd team all conference RB William Farrow (who against Tulsa put up 159 yards and 2 TDs this year and 116 yards and 4 TDs last year) isn't someone to be aware of?

    Independence Bowl Bound...

Congrats! Hope you guys beat them. AAC can use all the bowl wins we can get, especially vs P5.
