Get masonry sand. I just got plain river sand and I had to dig out rocks and it had weeds in it. Fertilize your yard right after you get done

Contact white sands company to get the sand. They will deliver to you and they are really cheap. I just used sand not compost. I have about a 10k sq ft yard and it took a whole dump truck load. It took me about 2 complete days to do it. It was very hard work so just be prepared
