    FC/OT: Is Cory Giger right?

3-fold problem Kraft completely botched the process. At worst, he had a 50-day head start to find a coach. i believe the Kraft-Franklin relationship became so personal, that Kraft made an emotional decision with the sole plan being, "we'll get someone, We Are." Franklin's fate was sealed when...

415 rushing yards allowed 508 total yards #5 & # 6 combined for 350 yards on 35 carries. 10 yards a carry over 35 rushes!! Rushed for 48 yards on 22 carries. 2.2 yards per carry. Offensive and defensive lines are horrible I've lost track of how many years in a row this is where "the offensive...

Watched the last 8 minutes on the laptop. Hard to blame Franklin for the end of the game. Can't comment on what happened earlier. Great throw and catch by Grunk to Reynolds. Put a very reliable kicker in the position he wanted it and he barely missed it left. I take no joy in someone else's...

It's almost like this team has a "If you think that was bad, wait until you see this" mentality. This #5 is going to go for 250!

    2026 Phillies Thread

100% on the manager. Why do managers go against what they've done all year. Duran in the 7th is a panic move. Duran back for the 8th is acknowledging that management did nothing to improve the bullpen. Can Duran go tomorrow? Mattingly channeled Rob Thompson circa 2025. Not an easy 3 days for...

    Don't look now but.....

Don't mean to jump into the conversation here. Winning on Saturday MAY have had done long-term damage than losing it. Winning that game justifies the conservative approach. what happens next matters. As royboy said, need to see how the staff and players respond.

Post game thoughts (some obvious, some where I disagree with most posters)

Not sure this reply is appropriate here. I guess I'm hitting on several things, none of these are meant to be in disagreement with anything you typed. What happens next is most important. The tentative, conservative approach failed miserably. the 17-0 lead was fool's gold. A good punt return...

What I learned: Penn State is a very average team There is no such thing as a cupcake conference schedule Offensive line is again a disappointment Defensive line is very slow Where has Bacon gone? One receiver caught a pass! Teams that play "not to lose" usually don't win Joseph threw 3...
