    No I don’t think so except Olympics are the next layer of 1 and sub 1 percenters. Plenty of NCAA champs did not make the Olympics and that is not intended to be a criticism. It just shows how hard it is to get there.

    Since the NCAA Championship just finished what is shown below has been circulating around. My assumption is the intent is to provide context and perspective. When u look at the 2805 d1 wrestlers listed below that are on the roster, that is not the starters. The starters would only be around 790...

    Very much agree with this. Yes, the 61st Midlands happened in late December. Northwestern Wrestling had 3 make it to the podium. It’s a good tournament. Stanford thought it was a good idea to end Men’s Wrestling……….until they didn’t.

    Update: 133 wrestled to his seed and placed 7th beating a returning All-American and big 10 champ to advance to NCAAs. That weight is very deep. There are a couple of others who may get consideration for an At-Large Bid. NIU and Illinois were injury impacted. 141 Also wrestled to his seed...
