    Wasn't Loyola 3 losses last year? And to the quarterfinal point, last year there were 4 quarterfinal teams with four losses and 5 the year before. Of those 9, only 3 were private (MCCHS and Provi in 17 and JCA last year). It's actually more common in the lower divisions where small teams...

    That is quite a snobby thing to say. Do you think the CCL is the only place where teams play tougher competition than they will see in their division or had injuries to key players that set them back? Two of those losses are LZ and Warren (the one by six flags) and the other can be chalked up...

    Probably worth noting that LF is a different team based on the health of Mills. He was less than 100% alot of the season. I've heard he's much better now. Just some color to those bad losses.

    That's true. However, I don't think this team has a Sampson on it (few do), so that first play is the FB and with him less of a threat things can be affected from there.

    You just have to think that replacing a fullback on an option team has the ability to mess with the whole offenses timing though. That mesh is the starting point for pretty much every play.

    Ihsa waives game requirements for CPS

    The obvious difference here is that the CPS teams can't really count as a loss via forfeit because both teams are not able to play. So, it's simply a non-game.

    Lost another RB, so they are down to having only one of their 4 original backfield in place and one of their 2 WRs. Take two D1 kids off any 6a school and every game is a grind.
