    Corky Palmer to retire...

15 fans = Top 15 attendance? We aren't talking about football here. As far as the press boxes and sky boxes go: Look like **** on the outside but on the inside they are very nice. .

    Corky Palmer to retire...

Was curious on what everyone else was saying, a few things: 1. Corky was not going to be forced out. Our AD doesn't have the spine to force anyone out unless the boosters turn against him (Giannini gave Bower got contract extensions and raises for 6 win seasons). Boosters don't care enough...

Lane Burroughs is the one responsible for assembling USM's current talent

Fair enough. Lots of respect for your program, as well.

Lane Burroughs is the one responsible for assembling USM's current talent

I presume you have "inside" sources. "Friend of the family," secretary in athletics office, know a guy who knows a guy who knew Hillcrest's coach, etc. Maybe you are right about those two instances. But maybe you still can't allow yourself to believe that Ole Miss and USM caught up to State...

Most of those mentioned are Tennessee, correct? And the good ones he gets from MS are typically from the same schools (Tupelo, Vicksburg schools, Hillcrest). He's typically out-of-state and then picks a few MS guys from schools that he has recruited from in the past. He's not much of a presence...

Huh? Have you taken a look at Ole Miss' roster and your roster? Just eyeballing Ole Miss', I count eight players from Mississippi. The talent in Mississippi is not what it used to be and Bianco has stayed ahead of USM and State because he is the one coach who realized this. You want to build...

    #25 now in baseball

Inconsistent: As in "score 24 runs one day and come back and put up 4 garbage runs against the same team's now completely depleted pitching staff the next day " inconsistent.

Yeah, we typically plan to pitch by committee is our biggest games. Agree....the 60 year olds who despise Ole Miss and State despite not playing football for decades may think of this as the World Series. In reality, it doesn't mean a damn thing when both teams have Top 10 opponents this...
