    You’re obviously new to USA soccer. Not only was it a solid showing but it was also surprising to many fans who have watched them struggle mightily in international friendlies and lower level North American tournaments over the last few years. They stunk last night.

    I’ve watched USA soccer since ‘94 and have never seen them look that well especially on this stage. I’m trying to contain my excitement by rationalizing it that Paraguay must be the worst of the 48 teams in the tournament.

    Robbinsdale HS class of ‘76 = Rick Rude, Tom Zenk, and Curt Henning (Mr Perfect). A few future rock’n wrestling stars followed from the same school in later years.
