    So Stans just has to beat LSU @ home, S. Car, and Arky

    to match last year's 9-7 SEC record and that isn't counting what could happen vs. an imploding UT squad. 9-7 and a good SEC tourney run after the way this season started is a pretty solid coaching job by Stans in a long line of them.

    was 4-4 in SEC play with a stronger SEC tourney ahead in March. If State finishes like last year with 9-10 wins and a spot in the SEC tourney title game or perhaps wins it, was the year somewhat salvaged? I say yes.

    I think he gets the RS this season and starts in 2012. QBs are playing earlier and earlier in CFB and I don't see anything wrong with Dak starting as a RS freshmen. He'll have a very seasoned and talented receiving core in 2012 to help him out.
