    New Bern Bears Football

Down in South MS listening to the game on ESPN radio. This is the second weekend in a row that the broadcast dropped off the internet. Tonight the broadcast was offline for most of the 2nd half, came back on with 53 seconds left in the game. Glad we won but what is the problem with the broadcast?

    New Bern Bears Football

Everyone should read in the New Bern Sun Journal what the former principal is saying about what happened!!! He said he had the authority to change grades and did. As a former NB Bear graduate his response makes me sick to my stomach - total hog shat!!!

    New Bern Bears Football

Graduated from New Bern High in 1975. This is criminally damn embarrassing. Heads should roll but I think the culprits that allowed this to happen have already retired or left!!!

Great win by "da Bears" over Havelock last night, but they really need to cut down on penalties!!!!

    Havelock

For the Bears this sounds more stupid than interesting. I understand from folks I grew up with and have lived in New Bern all their lives that this is just par for the course from the Craven County BOE for anything that has to do with High School sports.

    New Bern

You seem to be in the know on many things concerning Bear Football, who will be interviewed?

    New Bern

Got to agree with Port's post concerning state 4a champ New Bern. Not only about the Bear's O-line but also that no Bear back got even an honorable mention? Hard to figure this one!!!!!

4A State Championship Grimsley Vs. New Bern

Also, the bear's QB and RB's running that offense is truly a thing of beauty-would never have thought I would see high school kids that could run it so magically!!! Great coaching!!!!!!!

4A State Championship Grimsley Vs. New Bern

Shout out to the Bear's O-line, those boys controlled the line all night!! Bears' D-line played well too! Samson was by far the best D-lineman on the field tonight! Wish he would stay in state for his college ball!!

4A State Championship Grimsley Vs. New Bern

The Grimsley QB is special! There big d-lineman not so much-they were slow. That 355 lb boy is going to need to lose 30-40lbs before he plays college ball!
