    I don’t see how any could be proud of that. We all wonder why HS sports is being ruined and the proof is right there in front of us. The big 3 ( Hough, Grimsley, and Crest) will be celebrated at the end of the season and truly earned nothing…other coaches got those kids ready for them.

    Does Cleveland county school not care at all that Crest does this? Are kids allowed to move in that county this easy? If a kid moves in Cabarrus it’s all kinds of home checks, home visits, and paperwork.

    Coach M has done an outstanding job but he has an assistant coach who ran a couple starters off because he called them out on social media. I saw the actual post. I have heard others are leaving as well because nothing was done. Today’s athlete is not like yesterday, they don’t put up with that...

    That’s great!!! Now they did get SOME payback a few years ago! What blew my mind when NW won the first game a few years ago was ALB kids taking pictures with them…the old school ALB fans did not like that!

    The Northwest Cabarrus games needs to be a non conference game yearly. I’ve heard some rumors why it doesn’t happen, but does anyone really know?

    Don’t hate anyone, had a nephew on Crest last year, played there his senior year so I know how serious FB is there. ( he definitely didn’t belong there, he was a product of the awful transfer situation we are in.) If you hate someone over HS football you got issues.

    Yes they lost a RB and there is another big name leaving but they had a OL and WR transfer in. There was also a couple MC kids seen on their field.
