OT: 2026 NJ HS Football Offseason…

Immaculata reached out to our kid right after he announced his school decision on Wednesday. Two years ago, someone from Somerville wanted to set up a visit to their high school when he was in 6th grade.

OT: Who makes the BEST Pizza You’ve ever had?

Recently tried Lillo’s Tomato Pies down by Willingboro. While the Tomato Pie was well made and in the same level as Papa’s and DeLos, the cheesesteak with cooper sharp on a seeded roll was amazing!

OT: My wife could use some good thoughts/prayers (updated 5/16)

Hope all goes well during the journey. Stay positive! You both got this! Been through this fight starting in 2016 when I got sick, working with a local oncologist and a lymphoma specialist at Penn before getting diagnosed 8 months later. it was a watch and wait plan until mid-2023 when it...

OT: Things in sports that need to disappear

Bowling with string pins especially when it’s used for a sanctioned league. I’ve seen pins fall down a couple times during the course of the evening without any effort with the help of the strings. While it hasn’t impacted the outcome of the matches so far, I can see some disputes occur as the...

    OT: RIP Delorenzo’s, Hamilton

I live in Robbinsville too! We were in Town Center for about 9 years before going to the other side of 130 when we were expecting our 4th kid and right after I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. DeLo’s when they pick up the phone is our go to place. Otherwise for tomato pies, it would be Papa’s...

OT: Anyone’s kid going through the college admissions process this spring?

Our eldest daughter got accepted into all the pharmacy programs she applied to - Pitt, UB, St. Joe’s and Temple. It took one month longer for her to get a reply back from RU’s program. That wait was stressful! She will be going to RU this Fall. Need to start the college process with our next...

Rutgers ' spplications rise over 90%

OT 2025 NJ HS Football News…

I definitely think RBC is heading in the right direction as they are scheduling tougher opponents outside of the Shore Conference. They set up a feeder program with the elementary school that is next to their campus, St. James. In their first year, their 14U program won the D-1 Pop Warner...

OT 2025 NJ HS Football News…

This one was quite a shock. Coach Holman and staff were building a special program in the area - they had good connections with the youth programs in the area and ran some great camps in the Summer. Before this happened, they did lose Donald Jones from their staff who became the head coach for...

OT: 2024 NJ HS Football Season…

Kinda OT, but one of the biggest 13u games this year in the tri-state area is being played tonight in Paterson. #1 vs. #2 in NJ go at it. Both teams are loaded with upcoming HS talent and D1 prospects.

OT: Who makes the BEST Pizza You’ve ever had?

I definitely remember those days! Dad used to go there when Joe’s was too busy. Loved how they cooked it in the pan then removed the pie to crisp up the bottom. Also remember a good bar pie at Old Homestead in Stuyvesant Ave in Irvington as a kid in the early 80s.

OT: 2024 NJ HS Football Season…

Matawan’s youth program was at the D-1 level (like Brick City, Silk City and Dark Knights) so they can recruit kids from anywhere and not just from their town. Son spent a spring season there and traveling from Robbinsville. Coaching was good, but we decided to move him to a program in Philly...
