    Hibriten Wins 27 to 16. Gee scores 3 times from 40+ yards. Then plays ball control to win the game. It is not if he scores it is when he scores. Getting 8-12 carries, you can bet he is in the endzone 3 times.

    I’m not as caught up on the state of Burke county athletics. I haven’t seen freedom in a few years. I will say that the head coaching hire was a shock to me and I think they got a good one. Watching hickory’s improvement last year tells me that having a good coach is worth wins in high school...

    Newton will throw 60 bubble and quick screens this week. QB will have 85% completion percentage because of it.

    Favorites to win 2AA title ?

    Shelby may not make it out of round 1 with the way offense has played this year. Newton has a chance to knock them out early. South point is the only team that I think has a clear shot at title. Everyone below them can be knocked out every week. This is going to be a fun ride in the playoffs.

    Im glad Beam isn't scared of Shelby, but it would be nice if he could beat Maiden at some point. Tired of those clowns beating us. We play Shelby once every blue moon, if he wants to own shelby he can go back to Cleveland County. Anyways, I have Newton by a couple. Look for an interesting game.

    East plays us close. Never encourage losing but the losing team may end up getting a better draw in the playoffs playing a 4 or 5 seed in round two rather than a 1 or 2. Newton should win, but cannot run the ball at this point in the season.

    I think the same thing I really do. I don’t remember 3 being called back but I told everybody I know that it was a shell of what hibriten would play. Just think comp level was terrible.
