I agree. You could build the interstate system like that back in the day because labor costs were low, and there was a hell of alot less red tape.

Encapsulates why I don't like Adaptive cruise control. I use standard cruise control on the highways pretty much at all time outside of heavy traffic. I keep it 8-10 mph over and I always get back in the right lane after I pass.
Also, while we are talking driving/vehicles my other pet peeves...
