    Fun fact- MS has lost 2 conference games since 2000 (93-2). Of those 2 losses (both to New Trier) MS went on to win state championships.

    Maine west coach. First playoff win, at a school that has been bad for 20+ years. They (Maine west) had a coach a few years ago, Chris Hare, who while at Maine South went 9 and a half years straight coaching MS sophs undefeated. He went to MW and had no success.     MS seems to lock up tough opponents week 1 and 2 going back almost 10 years, debateably longer- I loved the two montini years (both staffs extremely close, MS shared offense with montini as well, great competitiveness), WWS when they were good. LWE both years was awesome. Not sure what they have...
