    Schiano Men GITT

I found it odd that the writers were starting with the “this has to be the year” slant before the season but, they are right. It’s year 7! In 2.0, we never find a way to win the games that matter. I’m incredibly appreciate of the moments he’s given us but, we have paid him a crap ton of money...

OT: Anyone else think Rutgers is absurdly expensive?

100% this. If you create low cost financing for anything it will lead to overconsumption. Only way to fix this is to remove the (artificial) ability to pay. That’s when these schools will be forced to make the difficult decisions about how to bring costs down. And yes that may include sports.

OT: New Jersey residents express broad-based positive opinions of Rutgers University

Putting aside my extreme hatred for everything PSU… anyone have views on the undergrad business school?

OT: New Jersey residents express broad-based positive opinions of Rutgers University

We used one. I was skeptical going in but in laws insisted and paid. Very low ROI particularly since we also had a good guidance resource. My biggest advice to all is to figure out big picture as quick as you can (big vs small, region etc). Once you have that sorted it becomes manageable.

It shouldn’t work that way either. It should simply be a tie breaker.

That’s fkn horrible. I could swear preference was mentioned out loud at a RU business school open house this year (in addition to word of mouth). Either way there needs to be no doubt about this. UT is highly selective. No way an alumni’s child should have that outcome.

Students who have alumni parents are given preference. I’ve heard this directly and from people with ties to admissions.

    RU application

100% The business school killed their presentation so I had a chance of getting my daughter there. Main tour was totally botched. Lots of buses and of all the places they could have picked to demo housing, they showed them a dorm on Busch! Now it’s UVA or PSU.

I truly believe we will be punching up to UVA, UNC level within a decade.

    Tackling

One of the things I always loved about Gregs D’s is the tackling/aggression. When we played the academies for example, they were so precise with assignments they would sometimes tackle a guy who didn’t get the ball. This d (all three levels) regularly stops for a spit second and it winds up...

    Unhealed trauma

They just showed Chris ash during the ND game (DC). The mere sight of that guy makes me violently ill.
