    Was at the game and Navy got away with a couple of relatively obvious interference penalties. Regardless, we lost because our 3d down (& long) defense was awful.

    Monty is likely gone after this season - although I think TU should be pretty good (assuming we find a QB). I just hope he has the common sense to go somewhere that has resources, commitment and big upside - Not just a bigger paycheck and bigger conference.

    RIP Dennis Byrd

    I was an offensive lineman (5th year senior) who told this kid (a freshman) to take it easy on us (he was a freshman who the staff decided to redshirt). He never did. Good football player and made the world a slightly better place.

    When has Alabama played against good spread offenses in the SEC recently? If they had to play offenses from the PAC 12 or Big 12 on a regular basis with only one week to prepare, they would be giving up a lot more points than they are now.
