    I don't disagree with you I'm just not sure there's a conference where it would make sense. SEC already has Texas A&M, Big XII regionally makes the most sense but the NCAA has allowed them to have a lucrative conference championship game with only ten teams, so no need to bring in 2 more teams.

    No. They are just leaving all options open so they can get their tournament in. They need to be able to pivot if a conference can't get their tournament finished in time. They are essentially putting on the Big Ten Tournament as a test run for the big dance.

    Big Ten has moved their conference tournament to Indianapolis this season so its teams can already stay in Indy and not have to travel for the tournament and get used to whatever the protocol will be.
