    Dorian Hardy to Penn State.

Penn State doesnt need to recruit heavily in NJ to be successful, they pick and choose who they want to take. The school may concentrate more in MD one year, and perhaps NJ another year. Just depends where the "elite" talent resides. It had a Top 15 class last year without the need to sign...

Why are we so overwhelmed physically in the Big Ten?

And Penn State was preseason No. 1 ranked team in the Country in 1999, stayed No. 1 until a late season collapse. It wasnt until the 2000's when PSU began to struggle because Joe stopped recruiting. And even then the team finished Top Ten 3 times in his last 10 full years of coachng. Not bad!

Penn State should've been in playoffs

Penn State was missing five starters from its defense including all three starting LBs. Penn State then lost two walk on LBs early in the game, and as a result couldnt even field a proper defense hence the final score. Extenuating circumstances for sure.

    I'm heartbroken for PSU

Barkley absolutely has no regrets, he said attending Penn State was the best decision he made in his life. He's one of the team leaders, and knows every Olineman on the team would break thru walls for him. You probably arent aware, Penn State was down to their 5th and 6th starting Tackles and...

why were the two hottest teams left out of CFP?

When Penn State played Michigan it couldnt even field a proper defense. FIve starters out including a CB and DE, and all three LBs (I'm going by memory), and on top of that two of our walk-on, backup LBs were knocked out of the game, also. Not an excuse, just a fact. We play Michigan now we...

B1G Teams better or worse next year

Barkley is a Soph, PSU will return 17 starters plus punter and kicker. Expect PSU to battle OSU for BIG title and be in the pre season top ten.

    If we were Nebraska...

Correction: OSU, Mich, AND Penn State invest 10's of millions in their football programs. There is no distinction among the three. All are blue-bloods with massive fanbases playing in massive stadiums willing to pay massive coaching salaries.

    Cabinda Bell Sickles Penn State

I have read thru this entire thread, and must say you are one NASTY person. The Penn State posters in this thread have been nothing but "respectful", you just don't like their opinions. Last time I looked this site was free, and open to ALL football fans. If you don't like it then go on the...

How great is it that we do have top programs in sports

You guys hate on Penn State 24/7 and call the school a cult because of football, but PSU is a "historical" Top 10 Athletic Dept in the Country. Penn State by far has the most NC's in the BIG since it joined in 1992, and most take nearly as much pride in that as having an elite football...

Winning in ACC vs Losing in B1G

"Resources" is just as much "intangible" as it is tangible (money). Schools like OSU, Mich, PSU (Blue-bloods) will always be near the top because of their "historical" status, this is the intangible I am referring to. Schools like MSU, Wisc, Iowa, hang around for awhile but cant do it...

Attn Coach Ash:Rutgers will remain #ChopNation

Why would anyone want to use something, "i.e. Chop" that is perceived by others outside of Rutgers as belonging to another school? I dont get it? If you're recruiting in Florida you're just confusing people down there.

Attn Coach Ash:Rutgers will remain #ChopNation

It's not unique to Rutgers. Fla St, Atlanta Braves, U of Fl-alligator chop, are all associated with "chop". No one outside of Rutgers identifies "chop" with you guys.
