Did anyone get invited to this weekend's nuptials between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

I think Scott goes back past even CI. I think he played hoops for Chic Hess.

What separates Publix from the rest imo is the customer service and cleanliness - and this can be attributed to the fact that it is mostly employee-owned, and the stock is not public. This means that you can work 22 years as a cashier and retire w/ $1M in savings - provided you took every...

I'd say that's a bit off. Publix surprises you with the BOGO's. I buy paper towels, olive oil, cooking oil, ketchup, mayo, mustard, tomato sauce, etc. - ALL cheaper than on amazon or at Walmart when BOGO at my Publix, and it's 3 minutes away. You just have to pay attention to the website and...

Did anyone get invited to this weekend's nuptials between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

Taylor's Dad, Scott Swift played basketball and graduated from Loyalsock. He also was the "Greenie" at the country club - changing sprinklers on the golf course at night during the summers. He put me to sleep w/ the sound of the sprinklers every night. Her Grandfather was a wealthy banker...

Did anyone get invited to this weekend's nuptials between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

I sent them a Publix gift card. I figure they'll be moving to Jupiter Island at some point. Everyone else seems to.

In another 15 years or so, I would expect Publix to be if not in PA, very close to it.

    What happened to rock music?

Is there studio work for talented kids like him in LA - not Wrecking Crew volume obviously, but some? I think of LA music, and I go back to The Knack. It took them a few years to even get heard outside of LA, but once they did, well.

    What happened to rock music?

It's just the endless practice resulting in perfection part of it that's missing. Nothing comes easy. I'd like to think some kids work as hard at the craft as Allen Collins or GC or EVH or Roy Clark did today, but I'm not sure. And like you said - we'll never hear it anyway b/c for us car...

    What happened to rock music?

There was a time when you almost had to be able to play multiple instruments and sing very well just to make an impression, all without computers and with a little microphone. Steve Walsh/Kansas times. Those were good sounding times.

    Happy Bobby Bonilla Day

That's certainly part of it, but they have obviously paid their bills and met all their obligations since then. It's sort of like a lottery jackpot. Do you want the lump sum or do you want something different, almost like a trust fund? Some people are better with money than others.

    Happy Bobby Bonilla Day

I remember reading a decade ago or so an article written by a sports finance guy that actually praised the Mets and scolded Bobby Bo for this deal. They pay it off with interest income and he could have done more with a lump sum.

    Learfield Cup Standings

Golf, baseball, softball, and frankly basketball have been non-competitive on a national level for generations. Even WVB has fallen off because they are a victim of their own successes. They moved the geographic center of the sport and are paying for it. Many more players out there, and you...
