    I agree that football needs to separate itself from the ncaa, especially at the highest level. College football has been operating on its own anyway. And we can have football-only conferences and then another conference for olympic sports.

    Have to be connected to TV Networks to negotiate the next tv deal; He or she should also have inside connections to amazon and netflix for additional streaming revenues. I would love to see someone like Oliver Luck involved.

    Seems pretty accurate. You could move some coaches up or down. I've talked to a few fla state folks. they are done with taggert. i think the administration gives him another year. but thats it. florida state can't afford to field a bad football team for too long. the donations start to dry up...

    Conference realignment is coming in 2022; when the tier 1 & 2 contracts are up for renewal. But this time the internet stations (amazon, netflix, yahoo et.al.) will be in competition too. Yahoo is already showing NFL games. so geography doesn't play as an important factor as it did in 2012...

    I haven't watched an NBA game in several years. I prefer college football, basketball and pro hockey. That being said, NBA basketball is growing fastest amongst the most important age group - millennials. That is why ABC/ESN overpaid for it.
