    Dogs vs Tide Game Thread

Wish our guys would go for a knee. Or an ankle. Sounds like fundamental tackling on a bruising back. Hate he got hurt. Fluff is a good one!

    Film Study

Anthony Smith at Minnesota was the best pass rusher in the Big 10 last year. Not saying the competition doesn’t increase across the board, but these guys have seen one of the two.

OT: Headed to London for the first time with my wife...

We did this exact trip last year with our kids. Even hit a game at Tottenham. Went from London to Edinburgh to Skye to Cotswolds and back out of London. If you go to Stonehenge, go to their website and book an after hours tour. It is the only way to go inside the stone circle now. Very cool...

    Hail State at 8:00

Just spoke to the admissions office, and they said to watch their social media for updates on when they have the issue fixed. I asked about priority, and they said they have the data from when each person logged in and started attempting to submit.

    Hail State at 8:00

Mine is also, and this is embarrassing. Didn't this happen last year? If we are going to make a big deal about application time, it might help to not look like a joke in doing so.

    Charles Cross, Mississippi State

I think Ole Miss had 2 players on the active rosters, at least according to the ones on the interwebs: Patriots - Ben Brown; Seahawks - Jared Ivey

    Day 9....

Whatever they did, it worked great and they should get their kudos since they catch the other end regularly (deservedly). MLGW didn’t have a single outage. Only 12 people lost power at “peak storm”, and those appeared to be isolated incidents.

    Atmosphere was electric today

The visitor side (where we sat the first half) and student section were scalding hot. I saw or my wife (nurse) assisted 3 people who passed out or were going down. Glad a friend invited us to 210 for the second half, or we might have watched the second half from the house, too. Why does football...

OT: Sad that 2 of the top10 violent crime cities are in Tennessee......

It didn’t hurt that Amy Weirich was trash. Difference between Memphis and most cities on the list that gives me hope - Mayor Young is excellent, understands what needs to be fixed, and is focused on partnering with the groups who can bring about change rather than picking fights with them. I

Football: worst recruiting class in recent memory?

We just had a kid go to weekends at State and Tennessee back to back. He likely wont play for either, but his bias was toward State until he went for the recruiting weekends. He said it was extremely unorganized, which shocked him, and Tennessee’s weekend was executed flawlessly. That may not be...

    EPL ….

Glad to see that my uninformed opinion (they should get rid of him) given to the London cab driver panned out. I took my family to see the 4-1 Brighton loss in person on our family vacation. I am not a fan, just thought it would be a cool, non-touristy experience. It was incredible! I am still...

    Savannah Bananas

I was at the game tonight with my family. It was a great time and seemed to have appeal to all ages. They keep the fans engaged pretty well for two hours which surprised me for a baseball game.

    OT: Made in the USA

The intellectual property angle isn't talked about enough. People scream free trade, but China doesn't play by the same rules as the free world. Limited original ideas and poaching tech is not allowed anywhere else, yet we are willing to ignore China doing exactly that to get cheap stuff. And...

    Grizz fire Taylor Jenkins

I didn't think they would fire him, but I have been hoping for a change for a while. His roster mismanagement (minutes allocations, never playing same 5 twice, etc.) has made cohesiveness tough - even beyond injuries, refusal to challenge game changing calls for years now (and then not using...

Anyone else ready for Dak to demand a trade?

This is simply not true. Dak's receivers get zero separation, which was extremely apparent against Green Bay. Josh Allen has Gabe Davis at #6 in the League and Khalil Shakir at #12. Lamar Jackson has Odell, when he is healthy at #8, and stud tight end in Mark Andrews (which Ferguson may turn out...
