Convince me that Mullen is the right guy for the job. Tell me why he is a good head coach

Convince me that Mullen is the right guy for the job. Tell me why he is a good head coach my honest opinion of Coach Mullen He's a good coach but far from great. He is the best promoter of MSU football in its history. That alone is almost worth his paycheck. I think he puts together a good...

Looks like Maye is a bust.....

Something tells me Mullen would've given Cam Newton a hard time too if he played at State.

According to Stricklin's Twitter, 5,835 total home tickets left

Another thing with the La Tech game is it is the first Saturday home game. I'd bet alot of families were jumping on the opportunity to go since they can't make the LSU game.

Gator Bowl: Do we "ring responsibly" to show the SEC we're so serious...

Gator Bowl: Do we "ring responsibly" to show the SEC we're so serious... technically, we're already outside the rule's jurisdiction. the rule applies to artificial noise in your home stadium. and just to add to that, we are the designated "away" team in this game anyway. since the GB prez says...

Athletically, we need to drop out of the SEC and join Conference USA

I don't think this is a totally stupid idea, but it's also one that most everyone at MSU would not go for. True we would win more games in CUSA, but I wouldn't say we'd go 1 or 2 losses a year. So ask yourself on a year after year basis would you rather be a 9-3 team in CUSA with slightly more...

Random Non-Sports/ Do you tip at Sonic?

but I still give them one usually a couple bucks. I'm a little biased because I worked as a pizza delivery guy my last year in college. The best idea would be to find out how much of that $2 is given to the delivery guy and balance it out however you would normally tip. When I worked at one, we...

Last nights episode of WTF, or as some people call it...LOST.

From Wiki regarding actors' take on finale. "Daniel Dae Kim has expressed satisfaction regarding the finale, stating "If you think about how many pieces the writers had to put together in order to make it fall into place, it’s mind-boggling, and they did such a great job ... For me it was very...

Last nights episode of WTF, or as some people call it...LOST.

Sounds like you were disappointed by the Jacob/MIB episode, could be wrong, but I definitely was disappointed...a light? really? For such an important episode, one that gives meaning to theentire series,I expected much better from the writers. But it is what it is and perhaps shouldn't take away...

Screw recruiting and basketball. Lost returns tonight.

If you like Lost, watch JJ Abram's other show Fringe on Fox. It has an overall loose storyline, but you can go in and watch each episode on its own whereas in Lost you have to watch everything to keep up.

Screw recruiting and basketball. Lost returns tonight.

It's supposed to be so jarring that it will feel like more of a finale than a premiere. Things have gotten more predictable since they are rounding out the series. Rumors are everyone is coming back that ever played on Lost. So I'm with the idea that everything changed when they detonated the...

    Rosebowl says Vincent Sanders to....

It's hard to tell where any OL projects, but to be cliche I think size matters in the SEC...I'll be interested to see what kind of shape the Rebs can whip up on that walkon. He obviously needs to lose about 50 lbs or that would've easily been a scholarship player.

AMEN to this...the final season is going to be out of this world!

    Rosebowl says Vincent Sanders to....

So where does that put Randall Mackey with the Rebs? Is he just not Nutt's style of QB, I mean, you guys just did recruit him from JUCO and he likely expects to compete for the job. MSU is rounding out with 5 O linemen in our class, a couple which are huge. This is counting on Robinson signing...

    OK, where's the recruitin' scuttlebutt?

MSU planned to sign 5 or 6 O linemen this year, and we look to end up with 5. Not bad in my book. Believe me with this class, we're gonna see linemen at MSU of a size we've hardly ever thought would be possible at our school on both sides of the ball.

    OK, where's the recruitin' scuttlebutt?

If we were to clean house with who's left on board, we will sign 27 or 28 (with Sanders). We can sign up to 28, but can only award 25 scholarships and bring those players in in a given year. Several of the commits will have to play JUCO because of grades, so it should work out if we oversign...
