Got a laugh out of the UCLA coach during the going into the 4th quarter interview at 31 / 28 ....
"I really feel bad for the fans having to watch this".
And seems when there's been no real "adversity". Listening to the post game on the radio with Neil and once past the positives of the game Neil brought up the 11 strikeouts and he kinda went off (as much as he goes off) how bad some of the hitting approaches were and not taking days off. I read...
Really surprised UH lost at "home" (don't you know their boards are melting down), wouldn't have guessed Iowa and TX came damn close to being an E8 team. Watched that whole game thinking we actually beat these guys, maybe we weren't so bad after all**
Good slate of games again tonight. I'll go...
To each their own but I've watched all or parts of every game. Heck, I watched most of all of the conference tournaments including a lot of the off beat ones. Actually watched our old nemesis The Dons go down in theirs. Been fun.
Thought I remembered it correctly but seems Big East BKB as much as anything helped make ESPN what it is today. One of their first deals cooked up with David Gavitt to get them past the odd "sporting events" as their only content as I recall.
The partnership between ESPN and the Big East defined...
Guessing it's going to be pretty jammed up and rocking again tonight. Absolutely perfect weather day and starting in daylight, finishing up under the lights. Here's hoping we make good on all of it.
I recently stumbled across a "triple feature" of some of my must watch TV shows from my younger days. Rockford Files, Quincy ME and something else and it was pretty bad. What you remember and what actually was often don't sync up.
Reminded me of the old Jeff Foxworthy routine about protective parents, "hurts don't it?" on touching the stove top and "hell, we used to put a 9000 pound TV on a TV tray". Guy was funny as hell when he first came out.
I've got my eye on 1 million views. Been a great thread with surprisingly...
Actually did this when I built my house and installed the sound system. Had them add old man volume knobs on the wall so I wouldn't have to find my phone and wait for the app to come up just to turn the music up or down.
Agree with you on this one and not sure why. I get there can be some "misevaluations" but the string of complete swing and misses has been "concerning" (as in they don't even play out the season in some cases.)
