    Why does that matter? If they are both employed, it shouldn't. Thats like an employer saying you couldn't do something on your own time.

    My question is this - are they going to lut limits on how often a coach can leave a job? If not, why can a coach do it but a player cannot? Doesn't seem legal to me.

    I get what you are saying, but To me, an argument could be made that the second conference had no elite teams. I heard that when the SEC had won however many national championships in a row that we were the best because we "beat each other up" but then had the exact same scenario you mentioned...

    I disagree completely. Maybe I missed Meyer, but my question for you is why did Saban seem to fight so hard to have NIL regulated? There's a reason and it isn't because it's an equal playing field or it's "best" for the "student athlete".

    Pete Carroll won it all in the pros with the shortest QB ever to do it. Saban couldn't win so he had to go back to college because he knew he could out recruit everyone. If I had to build a team - take Saban. If I had to coach a team that was already in place - take Carroll or Cignetti.
