A great example of "had this happened at Alabama, Auburn, etc." both from a NCAA punishment standpoint and a self-reporting standpoint. Free tires for two dang hours.
I appreciate this sentiment but that's how everything is going these days. Super commercialized, uniform, professional. Man on X calls it refinement culture. Even in LFL hadn't been changed years ago all the rigs would look alike right now. Cool is really hard to come by these days. Look at what...
Horrible spot for us. Them coming off 5 straight losses, playing at home with their tourney hopes on the line. Us having won two straight big games. I would give them a big edge because they will be fighting for their lives at home.
This has always been the story since the 2018 CWS. My question is why would something like that make you go a different direction? I realize it's a little taboo to talk before you're hired, but it's not like he went to the media or anything. Why would Cohen pull the plug just for that?
I think I understand why everybody hates the SEC. Team in the 80s RPI wins a series over a team ranked #2 and instead of that team dropping out of the top 10, the other other team goes from not even receiving votes to #16.
I would propose running actual offensive sets, moving the ball inside and out, and then if nothing happens then force up a three. The off-balance three is always there, you don't have to force it early on in the shot clock. I don't think you can get very far in a win or go home tournament format...
I completely agree w/FlotownDawg. You can acknowledge he's our best offensive player by far but also want more team play on the offensive side down the stretch. He went cold down the stretch in the Kentucky game too and that let them come back. Taking long contested threes early in the shot...
I think the show is trying to show there is still some hope to be found in the apocalyptic world. That love can still persist. What you're describing would be a really cynical approach of there is no good to be found in this world. Lots of shows would do that sure, but it looks like it's not...
I have no idea, but I think the series won't be as action-packed as you are expecting. It will develop human stories in a way the video game did not. For me, I'll be pretty disappointed if it's just Walking Dead 2.0
