Lebby is 7 - 17 ( i won’t even count last nights game)
Their offensive styles are very different, but the results are pretty darn similar.
It’s why Saban got out when he did. He had a 7-card hand until NIL and Transfer portal were introduced. He knew he couldn’t dominate without his deep bench of 4 & 5-star athletes at every position.

In theory, I agree that teams shouldn’t be penalized for playing in a title game, BUT Title games are assumed to be very close. If that assumption is false then you have to consider dinging them a little.

Arnett’s defenses were good. I don’t hold anything against him regarding HC. Thrown into a tough spot. IMO, his misstep was trying to completely change the offensive style in one off season.

Winning helps the attendance situation, but I believe we should also consider reducing capacity by 2-3k and provide spacious chair back seating. We weren’t selling out every game when Dan was clicking. Sure we had some sellout games, but IMO our capacity has always been just a taste too high...
Lebby is an Az State or Ark loss away from being run out of town this year. Maybe not by the AD but by everyone else. He showed some spark, but he was one loss away from calling plays from a press box next year.
Agreed! His comments were aweful, and I hope it is a learning opportunity for him and others. The underlying message is that Everybody sees Everything in this day and age of camera phones and social media.

that was a painful game to experience. I recall a receiver (memory fails me again) breaking his leg and Carroll losing his mind over it. We were getting whipped in every aspect of the game. All I could think of in that moment was “throw the towel. Throw the Towel!”
