Spin off thread: Worst QB to ever start a game for MSU

I remember Henig throwing 5 or 6 interceptions in a single HALF of football versus LSU.

    USM baseball renovations…

Because they are operating at a huge deficit. https://thecurrentla.com/2026/07/15/ul-athletics-is-losing-more-money-than-you-think/

    USM baseball renovations…

It looks pretty good, but the official announcement says it "marks the beginning of a fundraising effort to help bring the proposed improvements". I doubt the actual renovations will live up to these renderings. Just look their basketball arena. It's fallen well short of the renderings they...

    Baseball schedule is out....

We didn’t get a national seed because we lost 6 of our 10 SEC series (including getting swept twice at home). It had nothing to do with our non-conference schedule or performance.

    Baseball schedule is out....

FYI, these numbers aren't accurate. Last year, 2026: Saint Joseph was RPI 68, UNA was 161 & Stony Brook was 177. https://www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2026/rpi-live For comparison, LSU has 3 home non-conference series versus Long Island (RPI 195), Citadel (43) & Cornell (276). Arkansas has...

Sun Belt is about to implode

I'm sure Marshall would love to join the American, but I highly doubt the American has much interest in Marshall.

Interesting chart: Athletic fees charged to students

That is NOT what the chart says. It says it's amount of subsidies paid to the athletic department PER undergraduate student, not by each undergraduate student. Universities receive funding and have income streams beyond just student tuition. Students at many schools do have required athletic...

Looks like a 24-team playoff bracket is happening

Screw the bowls. Just play every game on campuses except for the title game.

Someone needs to explain to this guy that FCS is Division I.

To MSU admin and game day ops….

Agreed. The jumbotrons have become much less of a distraction.

To whomever tried to say our LT wasn’t complete trash

Larry was a dog **** athletic director who held us back for 20 years. The minute he was let go, our overall athletic profile began vastly improving. I will never not get enraged thinking about his bafoonery as our AD

Thoughts from the game after a little sleep.

Section 20, right on the 45 yard line about half way up and can’t understand an effing thing the ref or pa announcer says. I can’t believe it’s 2026, 12 years past our last major expansion project and they still haven’t bother to put in a distributed sound system
