    Izzo's a better basketball mind, but I'd rather have Cal. It's a lot harder to do what he does, recruiting-wise and team chemistry-wise, than he'd given credit for.

    I think he does steer kids he knows won't fit here (for whatever reason) to his friends in the coaching world. All coaches do this so they can potentially benefit from the same down the road (although this applies less to Cal because he gets 90% of the guys he wants anyway). But not to coaches...
