    Plus Indy dismantled a loaded Butler team the second time they met in the playoffs. Indy beat a really good Providence team that upset Richmond in the playoffs if I am not mistaken. Back in those days Richmond garnered a level of competitive fear so it was a big deal.

    Fire sale at Butler

    Although Butler got a bump in talent during the covid year when they made the west finals up until this past season. Butler had some lean years before that bump. Credit to Hales for making Butler a 8-9 win team during the lean years.
