So… you’re saying Tesla’s philosophy is “it’ll kill people, but at least it’s cheap”? 😉 Kidding. One or the other sensor technology alone just isn’t safe enough. And Tesla knows it (like every other technologically-informed company). I suspect Tesla will switch to using both. Either soon...

Unless it’s hyperbole, it is concerning that FSD has gone though so many “exponential” improvements and yet still flawed. Firstly, it’s concerning because that must mean the initial releases, which were allowed on public roads, were so immensely flawed that these was room for exponential...

Teslas are basically dirt cheap now. Are BYD's cars that much less expensive? I suspect negative sentiment towards Musk is a big factor, here and abroad. Perhaps that'll die down a bit now that he's (hopefully) all done with his DC ego trip. Consumers are said to have long memories, but I'm...

Also, no working from home. That's Elon's own rule, so he needs to follow it. A nasty leadership antipattern is creating work rules for employees and then setting a poor example by not adhering to them.

https://www.jalopnik.com/1872373/tesla-full-self-driving-hits-child-school-bus-test/ In other news, some investment funds with significant Tesla holdings tell Musk to work at least 40 hours per week at Tesla (https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-elon-musk-40-hour-work-week/). Turnabout's fair play...

Interesting Note from NJ Democratic Gov Debate - Fulop Anti Rutgers Football

I don't want to argue, because I'd love to pay less in property taxes. But I don't think this sort of thing is quite as simple as it sounds. Seems to me, the most likely way the state would pay for increasing state funding allocation to towns would be to either increase tax revenue at the...

Interesting Note from NJ Democratic Gov Debate - Fulop Anti Rutgers Football

Legalizing LSD would be pretty scary. Or, you know, so I've heard. OTOH, there are some folks who spend a lot of time on a certain side-forum here (that will go nameless) for which daily LSD supplements would almost certainly lead to much clearer thinking. 😉

Interesting Note from NJ Democratic Gov Debate - Fulop Anti Rutgers Football

If you promise to legalize cocaine and prostitution, you'll have my support. Give hookers non-profit status and I'll get you a bunch of campaign volunteers. Although, I suppose being Lord Governor of the Sovereign Kingdom of New Jersey doesn't exactly require a great deal of campaigning. So...

Interesting Note from NJ Democratic Gov Debate - Fulop Anti Rutgers Football

How would a governor make property taxes cheaper? Aren't property taxes a local government thing? Set by each individual town/city?

Ooh, a soapbox. Think I'll climb up on it. LOL I think cars (including EVs) that cost under $200K should be made with motors/engines that cannot produce more than, say, 500HP. Putting more HP than that into cars costing only $30-$40K is basically begging for more automotive deaths...
