O'Koren moved to specialist role for EJ...Bhatia moves up to full-time assistant

It's obvious Shoes is doing the heavy lifting with recruiting. As long as he's coordinating who we are recruiting and is the point person for the big fish, it doesn't matter who's in the other two seats, as long as they stay out of his way, IMHO. will be interesting when NJ releases salaries...

Shoes gets a lot of credit for this one

Shoes connections got Freeman, Sanders, and Doorson. Nothing against Macon or O'Koren. Just a fact. Bottom line if Shoes isn't here, we don't have any of those three. No way. Credit where credit is due.

    Mack and Jack

I'm sure Daleep has been on top of getting their passports up to date, which they will need very soon. Kadeem may have a foreign passport? Which would be very $$ for him, as he won't count as an American in some countries. I'm sure they will get some workouts with NBA teams, with their...

    Okoro Gone

Higgins, I hear you, but Okoro played 7 min/gm in roughly 10 games his first year. Guessing those were mostly garbage minutes. There's 20 guys at College Ave gym playing Mondays and Wednesdays that can be that kind of "body". Bottom line is he was brought here either because Van Macon...

    Okoro Gone

Okoro was a Macon recruit. He has to be held accountable for wasting schollys like that. This board is all over Shoes and especially Okoren, but Macon's imprint is all over this program. Not sure what he's done? Ever recruit an NBA player? An NCAA tournament team? I can't find any, and he's...

    Etou transferring

OnBrain, Agreed. He held us hostage all last summer, according to a few very dialed into the program, and did the same all season this year. This could be addition by subtraction. Chemisty is an incredible (and fragile) thing. See Lance STEVENSON. Eddie shouldn't have let him come back...

Why can't Eddie get it done?

The "coached in the NBA" shtick wears off quickly. Not sure it helps us going forward. Need to capitalize on that buzz in years 1 and 2. My worry, solely from observation, is that Eddie knows (or is willing to do) what it takes. Is his heart in it? Yes, absolutely. That was evident after...

    Looking Back, Looking Forward Realistically

It has to start with the staff. Looking at it on paper, its a mismatched staff, as it seemingly was last year. Eddie alluded to chemistry issues last year, resulting in Cox and Trigs and Shubick being let go. I wonder how it is any better chemistry wise with the remnants of Rice's staff and...
