    LZ libertyville

Yea that position you are like a battering ram. LZ also started a sophomore QB. He is going to be good. LZ had the game wrapped up and somehow allowed an 80 yard drive with 2 min left in the game. It reminded me of the Naz game last year.

36, he was rotating in with number 6.

LZ hanging tough with sophomores, freshman RB, and main starters on crutches. 10-7 LZ up with 1:15 to halftime

    McCarthy (Naz) Traded to Giants

No kidding. He plays better than Caleb, who runs around like a chicken with its head chopped off . . .

    Who wins the NSL?

I Well someone has to win it . . . Strangely, I was thinking LZ, believe it or not, has a shot this year, in this down year across the conference. However, they lost their team leader and best defensive player for the year to an ACL injury in week 3. That is not good . . . It is too bad, but...

Week 5 State Wide Top Games to Watch.....

Have not seen Zion, but I have some thoughts on LZ. In the LZ-Stevenson game, I actually saw a little spark in LZ that I have not seen in that program in years. LZ was down 14-3 with about 2 min left in the first half and things were really going south for LZ at that point. Then, they somehow...

What did we learn week 3!!!?!???

Ok I am going to go back in time, Stortz coached the most unbelievable 4 playoff games in 2011, with one game the craziest thing I have ever seen in high school football. Week 2 in the playoffs in 2011 and they faced Glenbard West, undefeated with 2 division I players. Tommy shutt was one of...

What did we learn week 3!!!?!???

Stortz coached Barrington in 2025, offensive coordinator. They were 10-2.

Check out the record in those years. That was not a coincidence.

Bryan Stortz is not there-that is the deal.

    LZ (0) Fremd (13) halftime

Agree with that, and that is the issue. I don’t care if you can throw a perfect spiral 60 yards in warmups. You need to be able to handle the football in traffic and be super athletic first (and run well and make great decisions) in that offense.

    LZ (0) Fremd (13) halftime

Interesting to see what will happen. Side note: the defense has at least six all conference players on that side, lineman and linebackers, and they are basically one way players. Anyway, they will be tough to run against this year.

    LZ (0) Fremd (13) halftime

I was one of the last people to accept the spread offense (I am old) but now I am starting to believe. Last year by the end of the year LZ’s spread offense was really clicking and they basically had Naz beat and were heading to the semis. But this 1940’s style veer/midline offense . . . Ouch!
